Cookie policy
Last updated 30 September 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use as few as we can, and we don't use any for advertising.
Essential cookies
These make the shop work, so they don't need your permission.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
__Host-wp_cart | Remembers your basket if you're not signed in | 30 days |
__Host-wp_session | Keeps you signed in to your account | Up to 90 days, or until you sign out |
wp_consent | Remembers your cookie choice | 6 months |
wp_basket_items (stored in your browser, not a cookie) | The number of items in your basket, so the page doesn't need to ask our server | Until your basket is empty |
Analytics cookies (only if you allow them)
With your permission, Google Analytics shows us how the site is used, such as which pages people visit and where they leave, so we can improve it. We don't send it your name, email or address, and we've switched off its advertising features. If you say no, none of these are set, and Google's script isn't even loaded.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics: tells visits apart, without identifying you | 13 months |
_ga_<ID> | Google Analytics: keeps track of your visit | 13 months |
wp_utm (stored in your browser for this visit) | The advert or email that brought you here, saved with your order | Until you close the tab |
Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page. Turning analytics off deletes its cookies. Your browser's settings can also block or delete cookies.

When you pay, you're on Stripe's checkout page, which sets its own cookies to process your payment and prevent fraud. Stripe's cookie policy explains them.
